AI agents at work in real businesses

These are working businesses, not demos: a home cinema installer, a glamping company, a tree surgeon and a pub. Each uses an AI agent to do real work, from 3D renders and websites to bookings, quotes and fixture lists. A person stays in charge of every one.

Home cinema & smart home · Bath
404pieces of finished work in five months

Hidden Home Technology: a design-and-install business run with an AI agent

Hidden Home Technology designs and installs home cinemas, hi-fi, lighting and smart homes across Bath, Bristol and the Cotswolds. It is Dan's own business, and since May its AI agent, Paige, has worked alongside him on almost everything: the paperwork, the website and the design work itself.

  • 404 pieces of work counted between May and October, including about 35 quotes, 56 articles and 114 client emails
  • Cinema room layouts, CAD from architects' plans and photoreal 3D renders, revised round after round as clients decide
  • Lighting design visualised before a single cable is run
  • A 46-page website, 45 articles and a 365-product shop, with the agent writing and updating the content
  • Supplier orders, invoices, diary and a full inbox tidy, all with Dan approving anything that leaves the building

Our working estimate is 4 to 45 hours of skilled work back for every hour Dan spends directing the agent.

Bell tent hire · Somerset

Camp Chic: a glamping business with its own AI agent

Camp Chic hires luxury bell tents for weddings, festivals and private events across Somerset and beyond. Jess runs it with Mike, and her AI agent, Aster, does much of the work that used to eat into evenings.

  • A full website with a build-your-own booking flow, and private booking links so wedding guests can book their own tents
  • Eight local area pages and twenty-two supplier profiles, written to be found on Google
  • Branded 'recommended suppliers' demo pages made for venues and suppliers met at wedding fairs
  • An enquiries tracker and dashboard on Jess's phone, so no lead goes cold
  • Follow-up emails and proposals drafted for Jess to check and send

The work of a web designer, a copywriter and an admin assistant, handled by one agent and checked by the owner.

Tree surgery & fencing · Frome
36pages on a new trade website

Perry's All Outdoor Solutions: a trade business that now looks the part online

Mike runs Perry's All Outdoor Solutions in Frome: tree surgery, fencing, hedges, stump grinding and garden clearance. Tradespeople rarely have time to build a website, so an AI agent built it from his photos and job notes.

  • Seven service pages and seventeen real project write-ups, each with before, during and after photos
  • Six local area pages covering Frome, Somerset, Wiltshire, Bath, Bristol and the Longleat area
  • Qualifications, a free-quote route and a clear 'call Mike' button on every page
  • Photos optimised and written up so the site is quick on a phone and readable by Google

A website that would usually take an agency weeks, built from a phone full of job photos.

Pub · Bath
1 afternoonfrom nothing to a live pub website

The Fairfield Arms: what a general-purpose agent can do for a pub in a day

The Fairfield Arms is a neighbourhood pub in Bath. It has no agent of its own. Everything here was done by agents set up for other businesses, in between their usual work, which is exactly the point.

  • A live website in an afternoon: food, drinks, music, sport, opening times, gallery and how to find the pub
  • Table bookings and private-hire enquiries online, plus a mailing-list sign-up and a customer list the pub owns
  • A simple staff page to choose which game shows on the one TV when fixtures clash
  • A trading forecast for the autumn: busy weeks, quiet spells, sport fixtures and theme-night ideas

A day's work from an agent that wasn't even built for hospitality.

Questions

What is an AI agent case study?

A real example of an AI agent doing work for a business: what it was asked to do, what it produced and what changed. Every case here is a live business you can visit.

Are these real businesses?

Yes. Hidden Home Technology is Dan's business and Camp Chic is Jess's. Perry's All Outdoor Solutions is run by Jess's partner Mike, and the Fairfield Arms is a pub in Bath. Each links to its live website.

Do the agents work without supervision?

No. A person stays in charge. Agents draft, build and research, and nothing goes to a client, supplier or bank without the owner saying yes.

Could my business do the same?

Very likely. Our two-day course teaches you to build and run your own agent, using the same approach as these businesses.
